Deanne and Bruce built their home in Meaford on a lot backing onto forested land and needed someone to add stone patios and walkways that would flow naturally around the yard and last forever. "We highly recommend Mike and Sound Outdoors.

“Mike installed a giant flagstone entrance to our home as well as a flag patio and stepping stones in our back yard.

We have to say that the entire project went smoothly. It was completed to budget and within the exact timeline that we laid out. There were no disappointments or delays.

Not only are we extremely pleased with the job that Mike did, we also had fun!

He is so pleasant and professional, all in all, a real pleasure to deal with"

The jumbo flagstone and stone step installed for the front landing was cut in to make matching tight joints yet kept to its natural shape to accommodate that country cottage feeling the home seeks to evoke.

Random cut flagstone walkways were laid into river rock on the north side of the house and then levelled with the grass so the edges can be easily mowed.

Flagstone patios and a landing in the back add comfortable places to enjoy some company among the gardens and under the canopy of the forest edge.

Flagstone patios with hard joinery need to be laid on a solid base. 12 inches of packed gravel underneath ensures your investment against shifting and cracking.

Stones with mulch, thyme or grass joinery can be laid on packed soil and screenings.
